Treatment for Cluster Headache
Amphetamine acts as a potent sympathomimetic amine that stimulates central nervous system dopaminergic and noradrenergic pathways, potentially interrupting the neurovascular mechanisms underlying cluster headache. Its vasoconstrictive properties and ability to modulate neurotransmitter release may help reduce the frequency and intensity of cluster headache episodes by altering cerebral blood flow and neural signaling.
