Treatment for Cluster Headache
Antiseptics used in Cluster Headache treatment, such as lidocaine, act as local anesthetic agents that block sodium channels in nerve membranes, interrupting nerve signal transmission and providing rapid pain relief. By temporarily inhibiting neuronal signaling in targeted areas, these agents can reduce pain intensity and potentially interrupt the neurogenic inflammatory cascade associated with Cluster Headache pathophysiology.

Nausea can only be overcome by whatever medication works, or by smells - lemon zest, eucalyptus oil, strong essential oils, rubbing alcohol, can help soothe the nausea.

You just need rubbing alcohol. Sniffing it or menthol helps a lot to calm down nausea. I keep a small bottle by my bedside at all times.
