Treatment for Cluster Headache

Candesartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that antagonizes AT1 receptors, potentially reducing neurogenic inflammation and modulating vascular tone in cluster headache pathophysiology. By blocking angiotensin II's vasoconstricting effects, it may help decrease the frequency and severity of cluster headache attacks through its anti-inflammatory and vasodilatory properties.
