chewing gum
Treatment for Cluster Headache
Chewing gum containing nicotine may provide relief for cluster headaches through its stimulation of nicotinic acetylcholine receptors in the central nervous system, which can modulate pain perception and neurovascular tone. The act of chewing and nicotine release may help interrupt the trigeminal-autonomic reflex associated with cluster headaches, potentially reducing pain intensity and duration.
