cold drinks
Treatment for Cluster Headache
Cold drinks, particularly those containing caffeine, can provide symptomatic relief for cluster headaches through vasoconstriction and central nervous system stimulation. The cold temperature and caffeine content work synergistically to reduce cerebral blood flow, potentially interrupting the neurovascular inflammatory cascade associated with cluster headache pathogenesis, while also providing mild analgesic and stimulant effects.
