dihydroergotamine
Treatment for Cluster Headache
Dihydroergotamine is a vasoconstrictor and serotonin receptor agonist that acts on 5-HT1B/1D receptors, which helps reduce neurogenic inflammation and cerebral blood vessel dilation associated with cluster headaches. By modulating neurotransmitter activity and vascular tone, it effectively interrupts the pathophysiological cascade of cluster headache pain and provides rapid symptomatic relief.

I’ve tried a few DHE versions (migranal nasal spray, pills), and Trudhesa was by far the best of them. It’s newer. I found it somewhat helpful. It won’t end the cycle but it may be a small help to make you slightly less miserable.
