Treatment for Cluster Headache

Emgality (galcanezumab) is a calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) monoclonal antibody that works by specifically binding and neutralizing CGRP, a neuropeptide involved in pain transmission and vasodilation. By inhibiting CGRP, Emgality reduces neurogenic inflammation and pain signaling, thereby decreasing the frequency and severity of cluster headache episodes.
