eptinezumab

Treatment for Cluster Headache

Eptinezumab is a calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) monoclonal antibody that works by binding and blocking CGRP receptors, thereby inhibiting CGRP-mediated vasodilation and neurogenic inflammation associated with cluster headache. By preventing CGRP signaling, it reduces the frequency and intensity of cluster headache attacks and provides prophylactic treatment for this severe neurological condition.
