Before CGRP meds I was given Cafergot. Triptans either do nothing or have terrible side effects and still do nothing for my migraine. Now I have both Cafergot and Ubrelvy.

Ergotamine constricts blood vessels, Cafergot is a medication that combines caffeine and ergotamine. ergotamine was the precursor to triptans. It’s what I take because triptans cause crazy side effects for me.
