float therapy
Treatment for Cluster Headache
Float therapy, utilizing magnesium-rich saltwater in sensory deprivation tanks, may modulate neural pain processing and reduce sympathetic nervous system activation for cluster headache management. The hypobaric and hypomagnetic environment potentially decreases cortical hyperexcitability and neurogenic inflammation, while promoting parasympetic relaxation and endogenous opioid release through reduced sensory input and increased magnesium absorption.
