Treatment for Cluster Headache
Certain herbal preparations like feverfew and butterbur have demonstrated potential in cluster headache management through their anti-inflammatory and vasodilatory properties. These herbs contain active compounds such as parthenolides and petasins that modulate inflammatory pathways, inhibit platelet aggregation, and potentially stabilize cerebral blood vessel tone, which may help reduce headache frequency and intensity.
