Treatment for Cluster Headache

Lasmiditan is a selective serotonin 5-HT1F receptor agonist that acts on neuronal receptors in the trigeminal system to modulate pain signaling. Unlike traditional triptans, it does not cause vasoconstriction and has a different mechanism of action that can potentially provide relief for cluster headache symptoms. While primarily studied for migraine, it may offer an alternative treatment option for cluster headache management by targeting neurogenic inflammation and pain transmission.

I’ve tried the Migranal, and it didn’t do very much for me. The one I was just prescribed that has been magical is Reyvow. I can’t say enough good things about Reyvow.
