Treatment for Cluster Headache
Oxygen masks, when used for cluster headache treatment, deliver high-flow 100% oxygen at 12-15 liters per minute, which induces rapid peripheral vasoconstriction and reduces cerebral blood flow. This mechanism helps abort acute cluster headache attacks by modulating neural vasculature and potentially interrupting the trigeminal-autonomic reflex pathway associated with the condition.

I find that it makes me tense my ear muscles, and move my jaw a *lot*. I just got botox and am very hopeful it will help with it. Also, I know disposable plastic is the worst, but disposable masks are infinitely more comfortable and better fitting t...View more
