massage therapy
Treatment for Cluster Headache
Massage therapy for Cluster Headache primarily acts by modulating the autonomic nervous system and reducing sympathetic tone, which may help mitigate the trigeminal-autonomic dysregulation characteristic of the condition. By stimulating mechanoreceptors and promoting parasympathetic activation, massage can potentially decrease muscle tension, improve local blood flow, and release endogenous opioids that contribute to pain modulation and neurological stress reduction.
