Treatment for Cluster Headache
Melatonin acts as a chronobiotic agent that helps regulate circadian rhythms and may reduce neurogenic inflammation in cluster headache pathogenesis. By binding to melatonin receptors (MT1 and MT2) in the hypothalamus and modulating neurotransmitter release, it can potentially decrease headache frequency and intensity. Its primary effects include reducing neuronal excitability and providing neuroprotective and anti-inflammatory properties.

Yep. Migraines are always put in the same category as other disorders that are psychosomatic. Makes me nuts cause my daily headaches completely went away with menopause and my monthly migraines reduced to a few a year.

I did the migraine diet back in the 80’s. It did zero to help my daily headaches or monthly migraines. For me, menopause is what finally helped. No more daily headaches and only a few migraines a year.

The invention of sumatriptan gave me my life back. I could manage my migraines at home. Then, for me, menopause got rid of my daily headaches and reduced my monthly migraines to a few a year
