metamizole
Treatment for Cluster Headache
Metamizole (dipyrone) is a centrally-acting analgesic and antipyretic with complex mechanisms including inhibition of cyclooxygenase and modulation of central pain processing. In cluster headache treatment, it acts rapidly to reduce pain intensity by targeting central pain pathways and potentially interrupting the neurogenic inflammatory cascade associated with trigeminal activation.
