minoxidil
Treatment for Cluster Headache
Minoxidil is a potassium channel opener that acts as a peripheral vasodilator, potentially reducing cerebrovascular constriction and inflammation associated with cluster headaches. When used off-label for cluster headache treatment, it may help modulate vascular tone and provide prophylactic relief by reducing the frequency and severity of headache episodes through its vasodilatory properties.
