muscle relaxant
Treatment for Cluster Headache
Muscle relaxants like cyclobenzaprine act centrally on the brainstem and spinal cord to reduce muscle hypertonicity and inhibit neural signal transmission, potentially interrupting the neurological cascade associated with cluster headache. By dampening aberrant muscle and neuronal activity, these agents can help reduce pain perception and provide symptomatic relief during acute cluster headache episodes.

I have done a terrible cocktail of hydroxyzine, methocarbamol, and liquid magnesium chloride to put me out. I do NOT recommend as it is dangerous. Thought I stopped breathing multiple times but I didn't care at that point, I was in so much pain.

Ativan works great. I rarely have them, except for flights though. Methocarbamol is usually what I take, with tylenol, coffee and an nsaid ointment or tens machine.

Methacarbamol. This muscle relaxer is the only one that works for me. Its amazing. I don't take it everyday, just for bad ones when my neck gets insanely tight.
