nadolol
Treatment for Cluster Headache
Nadolol is a non-selective beta-blocker that reduces neuronal excitability and vascular reactivity by antagonizing β1 and β2 adrenergic receptors. By modulating sympathetic nervous system activity and reducing catecholamine-mediated vasoconstriction, nadolol helps prevent cluster headache episodes and decrease their frequency and intensity. Its long half-life allows for sustained prophylactic treatment with once-daily dosing.
