nerve block injections
Treatment for Cluster Headache
Nerve block injections for Cluster Headache typically target the greater occipital nerve or trigeminal nerve, using local anesthetics like lidocaine to temporarily interrupt neural signaling. By blocking pain transmission and reducing neurogenic inflammation, these injections can provide rapid symptomatic relief and potentially modulate aberrant pain pathways associated with the headache syndrome.
