oral contraceptive
Treatment for Cluster Headache
Oral contraceptives, when used for Cluster Headache, can modulate hormonal fluctuations that may trigger or exacerbate headache episodes by suppressing ovulation and stabilizing estrogen levels. The continuous hormonal regulation helps reduce the frequency and intensity of cluster headache attacks by potentially interrupting neurogenic inflammatory processes and neurovascular mechanisms associated with these severe headaches.
