Treatment for Cluster Headache
SNRIs (Serotonin-Norepinephrine Reuptake Inhibitors) modulate neurotransmitter activity by blocking the reuptake of serotonin and norepinephrine, potentially reducing neurogenic inflammation and pain signaling in cluster headache pathogenesis. Although not a first-line treatment, SNRIs may help manage cluster headache symptoms by altering central pain processing and providing some prophylactic benefit through their neuromodulatory effects.
