steam therapy
Treatment for Cluster Headache
Steam therapy for Cluster Headache potentially provides symptomatic relief through localized vasodilation and neurogenic inflammatory modulation. The heat and moisture from steam inhalation can stimulate nasal trigeminal nerve receptors, potentially interrupting pain signaling pathways and reducing vascular constriction associated with cluster headache pathophysiology. By promoting local circulation and potentially influencing neurogenic inflammation, steam therapy may offer a non-pharmacological intervention for acute cluster headache symptoms.

1. Sit on floor in shower, modulate temperature as the migraine dictates on a moment-by-moment basis. 2. Make a bed on the bathroom floor. Always helps for some reason. 3. Japanese steam eye mask while waiting for triptan to kick in.
