tai chi
Treatment for Cluster Headache
Tai chi, a mind-body exercise, may modulate neurological and autonomic nervous system function in cluster headache patients through stress reduction, enhanced parasympathetic activity, and potential downregulation of inflammatory mediators. Its gentle, rhythmic movements and meditative components can decrease sympathetic nervous system activation, potentially reducing the frequency and intensity of cluster headache episodes by promoting neurological homeostasis and reducing physiological stress responses.

Yes, tai chi and chi kung do use smooth wave-like motions so that is a similarity. And yes the parasympathetic system kicks in when we are relaxed so the trick is how to fully relax ASAP... in examining many techniques I observed that many "treatmen...View more
