Topical lidocaine nasal spray acts as a local anesthetic by blocking sodium channels in nerve membranes, temporarily preventing nerve signal transmission and pain sensation in the nasal mucosa. I use these a lot. I put 3 on - above and below my eye and on my neck and then wear a sleep mask to sort of hold them on more. I find that really helps me get some relief so I can fall asleep in all but the worst migraines.
