topical muscle relaxant
Treatment for Cluster Headache
Topical muscle relaxants for cluster headache typically work by causing local vasodilation and reducing muscle tension through direct interaction with smooth muscle and nerve endings. These agents often contain ingredients like menthol or lidocaine, which block sodium channels and provide localized analgesic and muscle-relaxing effects, potentially alleviating pain and muscular constriction associated with the headache syndrome.
