antihistamines
Treatment for Visual Snow Syndrome
Antihistamines used in Visual Snow Syndrome primarily target H1 receptors, potentially modulating neurotransmitter signaling and reducing neurological hyperexcitability. They may help mitigate visual disturbances by dampening cortical and thalamic neuronal hyperactivity, though their efficacy remains under investigation with limited clinical evidence.

Hey there! I’m happy to report that the spot is slowly fading. My other symptoms and anxiety are improving as well. I’ve been taking hydroxyzine for the anxiety and it has been a life saver. How are you doing?
