Treatment for Visual Snow Syndrome
Ativan (lorazepam), a benzodiazepine, acts as a positive allosteric modulator of GABA-A receptors, enhancing inhibitory neurotransmission and reducing neuronal hyperexcitability in Visual Snow Syndrome. By potentiating GABA's inhibitory effects, it can potentially modulate cortical hyperactivity and provide symptomatic relief of visual disturbances and associated neurological symptoms.

Take Ativan for 4 weeks, it may just shut it down completely. VSS appears from fear center of the brain. Ativan suppresses fear, makes you feel carefree and also shuts down vs with it.
