buspirone
Treatment for Visual Snow Syndrome
Buspirone is a non-benzodiazepine anxiolytic that acts as a partial agonist at serotonin 5-HT1A receptors, potentially modulating neural hyperactivity in Visual Snow Syndrome. By reducing neuronal excitability and providing anxiolytic effects, it may help mitigate some perceptual disturbances and associated anxiety symptoms in patients with this neurological condition.
