inositol
Treatment for Visual Snow Syndrome
Inositol is a naturally occurring cyclitol that acts as a potential neurological modulator in Visual Snow Syndrome, likely by influencing neurotransmitter signaling and reducing cortical hyperexcitability. It may help normalize neuronal glutamate and GABA receptor function, potentially reducing abnormal visual processing and sensory perception associated with the syndrome. Its supplementation may support neural network stabilization and potentially mitigate the neurological dysregulation underlying Visual Snow Syndrome.
