levetiracetam
Treatment for Visual Snow Syndrome
Levetiracetam is an antiepileptic medication that modulates neuronal excitability by binding to the synaptic vesicle protein SV2A, which reduces neurotransmitter release and stabilizes neuronal membranes. In Visual Snow Syndrome, it is hypothesized to decrease hyperactive cortical signaling and normalize aberrant neuronal firing patterns, potentially mitigating visual disturbances by dampening excessive neuronal excitation.

Nah there’s plenty of treatments that work for some people with VSS but not others. Like lamotrigine or Keppra or FL41 glasses. I’m not hopeful but we should wait and see what the study says at least.
