naltrexone
Treatment for Visual Snow Syndrome
Naltrexone, an opioid antagonist, is hypothesized to modulate neurological hyperexcitability in Visual Snow Syndrome by blocking μ-opioid receptors and potentially reducing abnormal cortical neural network activity. When used at low doses, it may help regulate neurotransmitter signaling and potentially ameliorate visual processing abnormalities associated with the syndrome by altering neuronal excitation and inhibition balance.

Did you test low for vitamin K? If it helped without a measured deficiency, I'd like to try it as well (I've had the micronutrient tests and only showed up low for Zinc and Copper). I've been able to get back to work, but I'm still not back to normal...View more

I'm on 4.5 ldn. What it does is it reduces my long covid flairs. Long covid flairs always coincide with my VSS getting worse. So you could say the LDN does indeed successfully treat VSS if only indirectly.

I think it does help. I’m starting low dose naltrexone at .1mg and it may help a little too we will see. Need another 4-6 weeks of treatment

I’m also on Ldn. I’ve been on it for a while but i think it really only helps with my pain. Have you noticed a difference in static with the syntonics?
