screen avoidance
Treatment for Visual Snow Syndrome
Screen avoidance in Visual Snow Syndrome may involve modulating cortical hyperexcitability and reducing visual processing strain by limiting exposure to high-frequency visual stimuli and blue light emissions. The intervention aims to decrease neurological overstimulation and potentially downregulate aberrant neural network activity associated with the syndrome's pathophysiology. By minimizing visual input complexity, this approach may help mitigate symptoms and provide neurological rest for affected visual processing regions.
