sertraline
Treatment for Visual Snow Syndrome
Sertraline, a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI), acts by increasing serotonin levels in the brain, potentially modulating neuronal hyperexcitability and reducing sensory processing abnormalities associated with Visual Snow Syndrome. By enhancing serotonergic neurotransmission, it may help mitigate the neurological dysregulation underlying visual disturbances and associated symptoms such as tinnitus and anxiety.

Yep, that all sounds very familiar. I'd highly suggest giving your doctor a call and let them know about your stress, heart rate, and breathing and request something immediate to get you calmed down. Once they do that maybe you can focus on finding a...View more
